Julep Intro Box Review

Earlier in December Julep was offering a special for new Maven subscribers to get their Intro Box for only a penny. I had been debating on subscribing for months now so I just signed up using that coupon code. I took their quiz and ended up getting “It Girl”.

The box arrived super quickly -inside of a week during the week before the holidays. And it came all the way from Washington state. Super quick right?

Inside my intro box was:

  • Kim: Dark, gunmetal grey
  • Helena: Ultra-saturated fuchsia
  • Chloe: Charcoal base with magenta sparkle
  • Julep Fast Dry Topcoat
  • Small pot of sparkly glitter
  • Sample packet of hand cream
  • Sample packet of hand brightener

Even though I got this for only a cent, the normal price is $20. I feel like $20 is a good price for this and decided to try another month. We’ll see how that goes.

To me, these are the Julep benefits:

  • Julep promises over $40 in products every month. There are multiple boxes you can choose even if you don’t like the box recommended based on your answers to the quiz.
  • The Maven program features new, not previously released colors and treatments first.
  • Invitations to exclusive Maven online events
  • 20% all julep.com purchases except for Maven subscriptions
  • Free shipping.
  • Each month you can get a sneak peek at the box you will receive before its shipped out. You can change it, send it to a friend to try out or pause it for the month.

There is also a referral program where you can earn free months of Maven boxes. Here’s my link if anyone is debating signed up and decided to take the plunge.
